You’ll need to be at least Open Water certified (PADI or SSI) this trip. The dive sites around Lundy are shallow and sheltered, making them suitable for all divers with a PADI Open Water qualification or equivalent, regardless of experience level. It’s one of the best introductions to UK diving.

UK weather can be unpredictable, and safety always comes first. In rare cases, the trip may need to be cancelled up to 48 hours before departure if conditions are unsafe. If this happens, you’ll be offered: A place on an alternative trip, or A full refund if the trip cannot go ahead We know cancellations are frustrating, but English weather is outside of our control and we’ll always make the call with safety as the priority.

The pool refresher is essential for anyone who hasn't dived within the last year and combined with 2 sea dives at Lundy, this makes an excellent reintroduction to scuba diving. It is also recommended for any diver undertaking their first UK dive regardless of experience, as it means they will be more relaxed and able to enjoy the experience, which is quite different to tropical diving.

This is a new trip for us, but from what we understand the dive team we are working with are yet to dive Lundy’s seal sites and not see seals on at least one dive. While sightings can never be guaranteed, encounters are extremely likely. All interactions are 100% seal-led, we don't chase, and you’ll receive a thorough briefing before diving.
